I am a board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist at an academic medical center where I train residents, perform high-risk pregnancy ultrasound, outpatient consultation, and guide inpatient management. I am an unwavering advocate for maternal and fetal health, and I believe that incorporating innovation and technology into obstetric care can help us achieve better outcomes for our mothers and their infants.I have recently launched the Obstetric Innovation Network and catalyzed a corresponding scientific forum at the annual SMFM meeting. I have developed several remote monitoring platforms to improve high-risk pregnancy care, including a maternal transportation platform. I have experience in leading clinical and non-clinical teams, engineering and implementing quality & safety initiatives, and advising maternal morbidity and mortality reduction efforts on a national scale. My clinical and research interests include digital health and remote monitoring, simulation, health quality and safety, and exercise in pregnancy. I am a unique physician as I have a background in economics and a strong passion for innovation and technology, thus being able to serve as a great intermediary between clinical and industry environments.
