About Benjamin Kelley

With over five years in retail management and nearly fifteen in financial services, I bring a wealth of experience focused on serving clients, customers, peers, and associates. In leadership roles, I’ve helped teams reach their goals - personally and professionally - while driving success for the organization. If my work experience didn’t give it away, I’m a Californian who migrated east for the winter and decided to stay. Wanting to be closer to family, I left Northern California’s sun to experience the four seasons of Illinois in early 2016. This move profoundly impacted my life and career. I met my wife after relocating to the Midwest and transitioned into a role that showcases my passion for technology and creativity. As a Digital Channel Consultant, I help financial advisors strengthen their digital presence, connect with target audiences, and improve team efficiency. I recommend tools and platforms that align with their goals. With a background in Management Information Systems and a passion for all things tech, I use digital solutions to enhance operations, customer experience, and business strategy.I’m driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional financial solutions and meaningful client experiences. My strengths include operational excellence, risk management, and leveraging technology to optimize banking and digital services. I build strong relationships, tailor investment strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. I thrive in collaborative environments, working across teams to execute initiatives that boost engagement and support growth.Outside of work, I’m a lifelong sports fan. As a native Northern Californian, I proudly support the Golden State Warriors - long before the Curry dynasty, back to the Run TMC era. When Mitch Richmond was traded in 1991, my second team became the Sacramento Kings. I’m also a loyal fan of the Raiders (regardless of state), the Athletics (regardless of city), San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, and San Jose Earthquakes. In short, I’m passionate about most Bay Area sports.Contrary to the tech-nerd stereotype, when I’m not behind a computer working with financial partners or watching Bay Area sports, you’ll find me outdoors. Family is a priority for my wife and me, which is why we host weekly family dinners with both sets of parents. We also love exploring Illinois’ diverse cuisine during our bi-monthly date nights. My travel-partner-for-life and I love exploring theme parks one ride at a time. Which restaurant and/or theme park should we try next!
