Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, I had the opportunity to complete both a marketing internship where I harnessed the power of social media to create and maintain a brand image, and as part of a start-up where my team and I were able to triple our sales from year one to year two as a result of our sales marketing strategy. In addition to the valuable experience I have gained from both of these positions, my confidence in my abilities to learn and grow as a leader within a business has also increased. As an Assistant Golf Professional at ShadowGlen Golf Club, I was able to gain valuable experience and develop a variety of skillsets. During my two plus years, supervising the daily golf operation, I played an active role in the improvements and changes that allowed the course to achieve it’s most successful year in two decades, while at the same time increasing prices 20-30% across the board, and dealing with the effects of the pandemic.In addition to my professional experiences, I have also worked in a variety of other industries such as retail, customer service, the auto industry, and for myself detailing cars and boats. While these experiences do not directly contribute to my career path, each has been a valuable learning experience that has helped me develop important skills in interpersonal communication, teamwork, discipline, time management, problem solving, critical thinking, and leadership. All in all, working many different positions across various industries has given me a broad range of capabilities and has also improved my natural leadership and interpersonal communication abilities. I am dedicated to finding a place that will benefit from my skills and experience and give me the opportunity to grow professionally.
