UK on-site lead, responsible for laboratory set up, coordination, design, build and operation of the superconducting qubit quantum computing system.Lead a small team of quantum engineers and technicians to bring-up and optimise high-fidelity 1Q and 2Q quantum gates, maintain optimal performance and problem solve. Currently leading an R&D initiative into mid-circuit measurement calibration in preparation for execution of error correction codes on the QPUs.Responsible for upgrading the system to Rigetti’s 4th generation \"Ankaa\" style architecture. Lead on system design, procurement of parts, building and bringing-up of the system to optimal performance.Facilitated the move of the lab to a new location.Work alongside senior leadership on planning for the future, management and strategy.
