ABOUT BENJAMIN GOODEVE
I have recently completed a two-year-long course at Chelmsford College, where I studied a level 3 Advanced Technical Engineering Diploma. During this time I have become familiar with using CAD software such as AutoCAD 2024 and Fusion 360, which have helped me develop and implement essential CAD skills - fasteners, holes (threaded), and multi-part models. Furthermore, I have hands on experience working with Rotax Max go kart engines and Tony kart racing chassis’s as well as general maintenance and fundamental trackside knowledge. I have had a wide range of involvement across core mechanical engineering sectors enabling me to demonstrate the skills and techniques I have learnt. This helped me further understand the dynamics of becoming an engineer and ignited my passion to pursue a career in mechanical/ motorsport engineering.
