ABOUT BENJAMIN DEMICOL MENG MICHEME

I currently work as a Risk Engineer for Marsh. Prior to this I worked in Iraq as an Engineering Manager in both Operations and Major Projects roles. Previous to this I worked for Johnson Matthey as Capital Engineering Lead in the UK, and for EnQuest as the Engineering and Planning Manager at Sullom Voe Terminal. I have held a number of positions in the oil and gas industry including work abroad in Angola and offshore for BP. I bring energy and creativity to teams, I have a strong ability to be adaptable and innovative and easily approach problems from various different perspectives. I am a rapid learner and look to challenge and develop myself regularly. I have developed these attributes through significant operations and brownfield project commissioning and start-up experience. I have a keen focus on cost saving and value creation, with strong leadership skills in task prioritisation and management of team and project deliverables. I enjoy travel, exploring new places and cultures, in turn developing my multicultural awareness. I enjoy photography and am also a keen follower of Formula One and València FC.
