About Benjamin Keller

I work in the intersection of technology innovation and sustainable global development, applying emerging tech towards challenges including water resources, food security, global health, and renewable energy. Currently I am working with the Sustainable Energy Hub at UNDP as an specialist in innovation and programme support, after working for two years with the Small Island Developing States team as a data scientist. My work at UNDP has been in supporting the acceleration of transformative development through climate action, digital transformation, and blue economy. I also lead a documentary production company focused on international nonprofits and cultural and ecological conservation, and have just completed my first feature documentary in partnership with several indigenous communities of Peru. I have an MS in Tech Innovation from the University of Washington, an ME in Data Science from Tsinghua University, and an MS in Global Development and Technology from Arizona State University.
