ABOUT BEN BROWN
I\'m a practising NHS GP, dealing with the daily challenges our healthcare system faces. The rest of the time, I build AI-powered health technology to address these challenges and translate research into real-world impact. My work sits at the intersection of medicine, research, and technology. I believe the best solutions come from understanding the problem from the inside out, which is why my work is designed for the clinic, not to be published and filed away. It’s meant to be built, implemented, and used in the real world to make life better for patients and clinicians. I speak fluent Doctor, Scientist, and Software Engineer, plus just enough Business-speak to use words like \'synergy\' and \'scalability\' with a straight face.I have developed multiple digital tools used in the NHS. My proudest achievement is co-creating Patchs, an AI-powered online consultation system. From a simple idea, it has grown to be used by over GP practices, supporting the care of more than 10 million patients. My goal is simple: to build technology that actually helps. I\'m open to connecting with fellow innovators, clinicians tired of clunky software, potential collaborators, and anyone passionate about using data and AI to solve big, messy problems in healthcare.
