About Ben Cameron
With over 14 years of experience as an R&D Engineer at Creare, I lead the Autonomous Systems Group and direct multiple projects that span across various domains, such as power electronics, drone platforms, rover platforms, underwater vehicles, thermal management, gas separation, personal cooling, medical devices, and cryogenics. My mission is to bring together teams with diverse backgrounds and create innovative technical solutions that meet the needs and challenges of our clients and partners. As a private pilot and drone operator, I have a passion for aerospace engineering and a deep understanding of the principles and applications of heat and mass transfer, finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing. I also lead teams in the development of power electronics packages for hybrid electric vehicles and grid tied alternative energy and energy storage applications. Additionally, I have presented my research and findings at various conferences and publications, showcasing my expertise and contributions to the field.
