ABOUT BENJAMIN BEZOLD

Benjamin Bezold is working in the entertainment industry (videogames, movies & films, Apps, digital content) for more than 20 years. He is credited for the successful publishing of over 100 games for PC, Browser, Consoles and Mobile Devices. His extensive knowledge of the global digital content market and his outstanding skills in developing and building new business relationships & models are Benjamin’s key values. He started his career as an editor of Germany’s most widely read specialist games magazine ‘PC Games’ and its sister magazine ‘PC Action’, both published by Computec Media AG. Later on he joined the publisher TGC – The Games Company Worldwide GmbH, where he hold the position as Game Content Manager and then was promoted to Head of Public Relations and later on Head of Acquisition. Product Licensing, coordination and the evaluation of new projects and business models were also Benjamin’s main tasks at the publisher Just A Game GmbH. He was with the publisher from the first minute as Head of Acquisition and later on Licensing Director where he was responsible for building up the publisher’s high quality product portfolio. To date Benjamin is holding a similar role at CLIQ Digital AG. As Product & Licensing Director he is responsible for all licensing matters and the management of all kind of digital content for Mobile platforms and desktops. He has acquired for CLIQ Digitals OTT platform a portfolio of over hours of VOD content (films, series, sports etc.), audiobooks from major publishers, the latest chart hits in music streaming any many more digital content. Furthermore it is in his responsibility to conceptualize and develop innovative product verticals and alternate payment solutions for CLIQ Digital.
