About Benjamin Ziemba

I am a rising senior at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in supply chain management with a minor in economics. I have always been interested in supply chain it\'s influence on modern business and the complexities of it that go unnoticed. I have experience in fast-paced, everchanging environment through waitering and have been on multiple functional teams in Alpha Kappa Psi, a co-ed professional business fraternity. My role in this fraternity includes collaborating with fellow members on a range of activities, such as mentoring new members, helping facilitate merchandise orders and engaging in fundraising efforts. Last summer, I had the opportunity to work at Caterpillar as a procurement Intern. During my time there, I enhanced supply chain resiliency through project charters, helped coordinate logistics for a supplier summit, monitored RFQs and past dues, and created over 60 supplier performance one-pagers for leadership. My goal is to go into a supply chain field in which I will be able to interact with my peers in a team-based environment and offer my skills and perspective to achieve a common goal. Currently, I\'m working at Honeywell as a strategic sourcing intern focused on the improving the process of sourcing installation services for the Intelligrated organization.
