Hugo & Hoby began with a simple mission – to make beautiful, locally crafted and sustainable furniture more accessible. Inspired by our grandfathers, Hugo Kukelhaus and Hoby Young, both designers, carpenters, and environmentalists, we set out to make modern, handcrafted furnishings that would last a lifetime. We\'ve partnered with our country\'s best craftspeople, from Appalachia to Maine, who handcraft each piece with attention to detail. Our goal is to celebrate these talented craftspeople, the unique places where each piece is made, and help brands such as restaurants, hotels, universities, and offices, reinforce their unique mission through their furnishings.
