About Benjamin Williams

I am a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Accounting, driven by a love for service, efficiency, and excellence. I\'ve been enthralled by numbers and record-keeping since I was young, such as creating budgets for myself and keeping a written log of every purchase made.Throughout my schooling and personal experiences assisting with church financial allocation/budgeting over the years, I\'ve developed strong skills in efficiency, collaboration, and attention to detail. These opportunities have fed my hunger to learn, understand, and apply knowledge learned all the more.Outside of the classroom, I have been an active member of a number of organizations, including serving as the Assistant Chaplain and Philanthropy Chairs in Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX), being a member of the Asset Management Cohort in the Financial Management Association (FMA), and becoming the IFC VP of Finance. All of these roles have taught me how important it is to serve others, be proactive, and work well with other individuals towards a common goal.In the future, I plan to apply my desires to learn and serve others as a Certified Public Accountant, focusing in audit. My life mission is to give and contribute abundantly to the community, so it inspires everything I do.I am always excited to see new faces, learn from different perspectives, and impact society for the greater good.
