ABOUT BENJAMIN WANG
I have over 10 years of experience working as an senior electrical engineer in the electric utility industry leading work on large smart grid projects and building tools for process automation and data modeling. I\'ve worked with large datasets to create models for forecasting and scheduling customer power usage, building large graph models to simulate power flow on the grid at both transmission and distribution levels, and worked in large project teams to coordinate work across the company so I am familiar with the common problems encountered and comfortable with identifying and pursuing the solutions in these large group settings. Working on the software and simulation side, I am well vetted in the troubleshooting process for applications, creating and reviewing logs, tests, and code. I am used to things breaking and identifying root causes to design and deploy long term fixes instead. I am currently completing my master\'s degree and looking for an internship or full time opportunity in a ML-focused role.
