My role encompasses strategic oversight, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure strong performance in alignment with WSP’s regional and national goals.* Strategic & Operational Leadership* Develop, implement, and monitor business strategies aligned with national and regional E&E objectives.* Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) including backlog, utilization, DLM, invoicing, pricing discipline, and margin management.* Lead district-level initiatives related to talent development, employee engagement, safety, and quality.* Team Management & Engagement* Serve as a visible and accessible leader through regular site visits, town halls, and team meetings.* Manage district-wide performance through coaching, goal-setting, succession planning, and organizational alignment.* Facilitate hiring and retention strategies to grow the business and maintain a high-performing team.* Client & Market Engagement* Support pipeline development and backlog growth in collaboration with Client Executives and Market Sector Leads.* Engage directly with clients on strategic pursuits and problem project recovery.* Oversee review and approval of key pursuits, contracts, change orders, and project execution in alignment with Delegation of Authority.* Resource Planning & Collaboration* Monitor staffing forecasts and resource utilization across the district and coordinate with peers across WSP for cross-office and cross-district support.* Champion collaboration with non-E&E business lines on integrated pursuits and project delivery.
