As a Senior Project Manager, Ben has led projects ranging from small initiatives to multimillion-dollar programs. He manages client relationships, negotiates scope and fees, develops project plans, allocates resources, and oversees budgets, schedules, risk assessments, quality control, and safety plans. His detail-oriented and efficient approach consistently results in high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.As a Multimodal Transportation Engineer, Ben has directed conceptual studies, alternatives analyses, and environmental assessments, and designed infrastructure for multi-use trails, transit facilities, and freeway lanes (HOV, Express, HOT). He applies strategies from FHWA, AASHTO, NACTO, and ITE to deliver integrated solutions for all users.As a Transportation Safety Engineer, Ben has led safety analyses for freeway corridors and urban/rural arterials, implementing countermeasures from the Highway Safety Manual (HSM). He has managed safety improvement projects and advised NDOT on its Complete Streets Policy manual. As a member of the Nevada State Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, he contributes to national efforts focused on vulnerable road users.As an ITS Engineer, Ben has overseen the design and implementation of traffic operations infrastructure, including signal systems, safety lighting, detection and CCTV systems, fiber optic communications, weigh-in-motion, and weather information systems, along with associated AC/DC power systems. He prepares plans, specifications, and estimates for ITS applications aligned with national standards.As a Quality Control Manager, Ben has administered QA/QC systems for projects of all sizes. He has conducted audits, managed client satisfaction surveys, and trained staff on QA objectives and QC indicators to ensure compliance and reduce liability risk. His leadership supports consistent delivery of high-performing, client-focused transportation solutions.
