CFO reports directly to CEO and Board Treasurer, and leads the finance and technology teams executing business strategies, engaging in board-level initiatives, and demonstrating strong leadership. CFO oversees a team of more than 37 employees across finance and technology functions, with c-suite-level direct reports.Top priorities include:* Drive financial analyses of multiple competing cities through a robust RFP process to determine the historic $100M+ relocation of marquis film festival from Park City UT to Boulder CO.* Lead Board-driven effort to restructure financially distressed organization including large-scale $5M+ annual reorganization of labor and expenses across key business functions, as well as strategies to enhance $10M+ annual revenues.* Key contributor in the Institute’s long-term planning processes, translating strategy into a balanced financial plan, overseeing financial metrics, and benchmarking KPI/OKRs.* Translate organizational priorities into a multi-year budgets, financial modeling, and forecasting including balance sheet and cash flow analyses.* Oversee compliance with federal and state agencies to maintain tax-exempt status, as well as oversee clean audit reports and timely, accurate tax filings (990 et al).* Establish policies to oversee management of and reporting for $45M investment funds, including various endowments.
