Responsible for the development of next-generation Quantum LiDAR Methane Cameras for gas sensing applications. Focused on the Photonic system-level integration of distributed feedback lasers (DFBs), semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs/BOAs), modulators, free-space optics, optical fibres, lenses, prisms, and single-photon avalanche diode detectors (SPADs). The technology is based on Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), Differential Absorption LiDAR (DIAL), and Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) to enable methane imaging at 200m range.
