Since I first solved a real-life, multi-route, simplified traveling salesman problem at age 13, I\'ve beenamazed at the power of clear thinking and optimized systems to make real improvements to the lives of those around me. Every problem has a solution! Here are some problems I\'ve been working on:Lack of data is a problem- At Keap FKA Infusionsoft I built robust and cost-sensitive data pipelines, added services to turn expert email industry knowledge into API responses, and surfaced aggregated email metrics for customers- I designed, developed, and deployed monitoring systems used in the factories of multiple Fortune 100 semiconductor companies- I designed, built, and maintained the databases behind a fintech app.Lack of understanding is a related problem- I created and maintained data dashboards shedding light on various metrics around email sending across the customer base. Other dashboards I built enabled technical support to quickly gather certain data for customers- Undocumented code can be hazardous. I did the work to study and document several areas of an ancient and complex code base to enable good decision-making around modifications and decomposition- As an instructor I have brought math and physics to life for high-school and college students and covered vacuum fundamentals with seasoned semiconductor technicians- I speak to large and small groups on topics ranging from email best practices to a growth mindset to religious instruction.Stagnation is a problem- I act. I\'m willing to be bad at something for a while in order to learn how to be great at it- I am self-reliant. Throw me into the deep end of a poorly-understood problem, and pretty soon you\'ll have a working system and a full report on how it works- I am resilient. Life brings joy and sorrow.
