I am back at Ames this summer to continue working on the same project as last summer. I am again working in the lab to determine how well some fancy lasers kill bacteria, for the purpose of developing this technology to use on spacecraft. This year, we are trying out a different laser and are expanding the types of organisms that we are testing on.
