   As the owner and sole developer of Plant Therapy’s homegrown integration system, “Jump,” I have successfully managed and enhanced the platform for retail store integrations, data visualization, and custom inventory processes. Rapidly transitioning into this role in just two weeks, I took over responsibilities from three developers, significantly improving project efficiency.I addressed peak traffic performance challenges during high-traffic holiday seasons by implementing a dynamic scheduling feature that adjusts request parallelism based on integration response times. My work transformed eight standalone integrations into a comprehensive platform, enabling non-developers to configure integrations easily with standardized features, flow control, and detailed logging. Key enhancements included the creation of reusable import formats, pre/post-processing of data, and automated flow triggers.To boost SQL performance, I migrated the Jump system from Knex to a custom-built Data Access Object (DAO), introducing innovative features such as automated query monitoring and caching of formula-based fields. This migration simplified user interactions while optimizing performance.Additionally, I developed a data visualization tool that offloaded BI/reports from NetSuite (ERP), reducing report generation times from 30 minutes to mere seconds. I also led the implementation of PII certification requirements, strengthening system security with features like user data segmentation and comprehensive encryption for data in transit and at rest.
