ABOUT BENJAMIN M.

The greatest gift that I ever received from my parents was the love for asking questions and finding answers. I don’t mean questions related to ‘Who’ or ‘Where’; I mean really hard questions that start with ‘How’ or ‘Why’—questions that require math to solve and an understanding of the physical laws of nature to comprehend fully. And, I\'m not talking about purely abstract questions; but real questions with answers that can make positive contributions to the health and well-being of other people.My compulsion for asking and answering difficult questions, along with an innate curiosity and a desire to commercialize technology, led me to double-major in physics and mechanical engineering. It was in graduate school, where I was presented with opportunities for research and development, that I acquired the passion, conviction, tenacity, and devotion necessary to excel in the practical fields of applied physics and engineering design.Driven by my intellectual inquisitiveness and enthusiasm for scientific innovation, I’ve applied my skills as a self-managing and detail oriented analytic problem solver to various concepts, technologies, and products. Whether it’s modeling and simulating the kinematics and dynamics of machinery for producing biopharmaceuticals; designing and building robotic work cells for manufacturing medical devices; or developing strategically efficient, time-saving, and labor-reducing organizational tools and processes; I’ve gotten great pleasure and satisfaction from dedicating myself to a task while making insightful observations and then creating novel solutions to these challenging and highly rewarding problems. In addition, I am eager and interested in provoking deep thought in others and working with them toward inspired goal completion. So far, I haven’t run out of questions; there is much more to learn.
