About Benjamin Laird

I started in Law Enforcement in 2005. I very much respected the job I did every day and tried to make a difference like my colleagues. My education was in information technology and when I was part of a CAD/RMS transition that made me think… why is everything so complex? Why do we use pen, paper and excel in Law Enforcement so often? From there I partnered with the right people and created Frontline. Since 2016 I started a path to create software to make things easier. One software solution has now turned into 9. I was fortunate to retire early, get a private sector job to help pay the bills for my family. In 2021 this idea/hobby turned into a true business and now we have powerful software platforms that are making a difference for communication centers and Law Enforcement across the Country.In March 2025 Frontline was acquired by Vector Solutions. We now have doubled our team and look forward to what the future holds. I strive in making a difference in the Law Enforcement and Dispatch space and continue to expand our growth and create/update products to have great easy to use products saving our agencies hours of time on reports and data collection.
