ABOUT BENJAMIN HUMPHREYS

Benjamin Humphreys, is a Senior Operating Executive at Monomoy Capital Partners focused on Private Equity portfolio company operations. Immediately prior to joining Monomoy Capital Partners, Mr. Humphreys was an Operating Partner at Staple Street Capital where he was similarly focused on Private Equity portfolio company operations. Prior to joining Staple Street Capital, Mr. Humphreys was the Chief Financial Officer of Canary, a leading provider of internet connected security cameras and advanced computer vision algorithms. Prior to his time at Canary, Mr. Humphreys was a Managing Director at BlackRock. His roles included Global Head of Business Finance (including both leadership of the Global FP & A and Sourcing and Vendor Management functions) and Chief Operating Officer for Global Marketing & Communications (including responsibility for marketing analytics, operations and strategy). During his time at BlackRock he also served on a variety of global governance committees, including as Co-Chair of the Sourcing and Vendor Management Governance Council, a member of the Global Controls Committee, a member of the Americas Executive Committee, a member of the Global Financial Crime Committee, and as a member of both the Finance and Global Marketing & Communications Executive Committees. Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Humphreys was a Managing Director and Partner at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P.(CCM). For the last 3 years of his tenure at CCM, he was responsible for Accounting, Valuation, Financial Reporting & Strategic Analysis. Prior to that, he spent 3 years at CCM working on private equity transactions and portfolio management. Mr. Humphreys began his career at General Electric and held a variety of roles in finance, risk management and operations in both the United States and United Kingdom.
