ABOUT BENJAMIN HAZELTON
I am an MPhil candidate in Development Studies at the University of Oxford, where my research focuses on community development, environmental justice, critical mineral extraction, and the green transition in Namibia. Previously, I was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Taiwan and a Jefferson Scholar at the University of Virginia.My professional experience spans ESG research, impact investing, and quantitative analysis, alongside qualitative fieldwork and policy research. I have experience producing written analysis and coordinating research and stakeholder engagement. I am interested in opportunities at the intersection of social impact, climate finance, and international development, applying rigorous analysis to inform policy and investment decisions.
