ABOUT BENJAMIN GAUCHENOT

12 years of experience in management for Operations (including 6 years as plant’s GM and 7 years as VP Operations at Corporate level managing up to 10 plants and 2800 employees). Key results: Industrial performance improved in all the area managed, Major automation and digitalization transformation implemented, Bosch Quality award for best operation of the year granted in 2015. 9 years of experience in project management (including a position of Program Director at Bosch). Key results: all project managed where closed reaching the Quality, Cost and Timing targets. 6 years as P&L responsible for business unit and for global customer project up to 400M€ sales and 20M€ Capex within a global organisation. Results: EBIT within the budget target.I am Passionate for innovation and continuous improvement in Operations. I improve industrial performances using simple solutions based on: Safety, 5S, transparent and systematic performance management (from shopfloor to top management), cooperation, employee’s knowhow, root cause analyses and target setting. I enjoy deploying this framework using the following motto: be strong on details, be focus on technic and share your knowhow. I consider my management style as Builder, Grower and Supporter. In everything I do, I try to focus my activity on those three pillars: Building, together with the interested parties, the vision / mission / strategy as well as the needed standard framework (performance management, customer project management…), Growing people competences and wellbeing at work and Supporting as a member of the working team on specific key topics when needed.
