As a Project Engineer intern with Brinkmann Constructors my daily task may include any of the following. Support the Superintendent & Project Manager Assist in daily coordination between field teams and office staff. Help communicate updates, changes, and needs between subcontractors, suppliers, and management.Track Progress & Daily Reports Monitor jobsite activities, take notes, photos, and compile daily logs. Document progress, weather conditions, manpower, and any field issues.Quality Control Help ensure work meets specifications and quality standards. Assist in reviewing submittals and inspecting materials as they arrive.Site Walks & Safety Participate in safety meetings and jobsite walks. Identify and report potential hazards, helping enforce safety protocols.Schedule Coordination Help track tasks against the master schedule. Flag potential delays and assist in re-sequencing work when needed.Field Changes & RFIs Help process Requests for Information (RFIs) and track field changes. Work closely with the superintendent to resolve on-site issues quickly.Document Control Keep construction drawings, plans, and specs up to date. Help distribute revised plans to crews and subcontractors.
