ABOUT BENJAMIN BEN DOERINGER-SMITH
Originally from Lakeland, Florida, I am a junior at ESB Reutlingen, majoring in International Business as part of the International Business Dual Degree program with Elon University in the United States. Before leaving for university, I took a gap year to travel the world and work abroad. I began my journey working as a Marketing Intern at Pfanner Getränke GmbH in Lauterach, Austria, during the summer of 2022. My journey continued as I volunteered at the nonprofit Café Satz in Freiburg, Germany, in the fall of 2022. By 2023, I had moved to Nelson, New Zealand, where I worked full-time at Robert Harris Café.At Elon University, I worked as a Campus Tour Guide and Resident Assistant, served as a brother and mentor in Alpha Kappa Psi, and held the position of Vice President of the Smooth Progressions a cappella group. In my free time, I enjoy reading, practicing calisthenics, and spending time outdoors.In the future, I hope to discover where in the business world I can apply myself. I know that by pursuing my interests and staying curious about the world and the people around me, I can uncover professional passions beyond just marketing.
