A Professional Land Surveyor and Employee-Owner at LJA. My main role as the Survey Director in the Phoenix office focuses on local Land Development projects and supporting our Energy sector. I work with other offices and clients to provide Survey services for ALTA Surveys, boundaries, platting, descriptions, topographic surveys, aerial mapping, construction staking, and more.I have management and project specific experience in Renewable Energy (utility-scale Solar, Wind, and Storage) and Land Development. I have an educational background in Land Surveying and Civil Engineering from Ferris State University. In 1995, I got my start in Surveying working for the Bureau of Land Management doing retracement work in Michigan, Wisconsin, the Smokey Mountain National Park in North Carolina, and part of the U.S./Canadian border in Maine. After graduating from Ferris, I worked mostly on the residential and commercial side of Surveying, before transitioning to providing Survey services in the Renewable Energy market.
