About Benjamin Battye

I\'ve been told by many people that my work ethic is second to none. I will work harder than anyone to achieve my goals, whatever those goals may be. I grew up in Torrance, CA, just south of Los Angeles. This is where I found my first love, the game of golf. I started playing when I was 4 and didn\'t play my first event until I was 12. I was playing Little League baseball up until my first year of Middle School. At this point, my dream was to make it on the PGA Tour and play professional golf. But I had to improve so fast compared to some of my peers since I started playing so late. So I worked harder than all of them to reach the pinnacle of junior golf. Winning countless events and even playing in the US Junior Am. I then committed to play Division 1 golf at La Salle University. And at La Salle University, I found my second love, Accounting. Originally attending university for a Business Administration degree, I fell in love with BUS 101 and BUS 102, both being Accounting courses. So I switched my major and also changed it towards a Masters program. I love the language of Business. It has been so fun to learn and I can\'t wait to do something with it before and after I graduate. I still want to be a professional golfer and play on the PGA Tour, I will always pursue that. But Accounting is a great second option and something I truly enjoy. I have many hands on skills, I am patient, I\'m a listener, and at the end of the day, I get things done. I am someone that you can ask to get something done with precision and accuracy. I am efficient in the Microsoft and Google Suites. I am easy to engage. But most importantly I will outwork anyone you put me up with. I will outwork my coworkers, my competitors, and my supervisors. I will be the first in and the last out. It\'s how I grew up and it\'s gotten me to this point in life. Still young and have a long ways to go, but can\'t wait to see where it takes me. Hope this helps you get to know me and my strengths.
