I’m a Director, Investment Specialist and the Chair of Baillie Gifford’s US Growth Product. Working directly with the investment team, we analyse high-growth US companies, both public and private, and build unique, long-term portfolios for our clients worldwide.I present our research, portfolio positioning and mandate design to clients and prospects globally. Responsibilities include client reporting, new business development and day-to-day liaison between portfolio managers and institutional and intermediary decision makers.As Chair of the US Growth Product, I am also responsible for oversight of the $18bn US Growth strategy: designing, launching and continually overseeing well-governed funds and products, adapting each to the specific needs of our clients and target markets. I have been on the strategy since 2016.Previously, I served as an officer in the British Army. My professional focus is innovation, clear communication and disciplined, long-term capital allocation.
