About Benita Jackson
Welcome, c a t a l y s t! I’m an active college professor who teaches and researches on how society shapes health and disease. I also specialize in supporting women connecting more deeply to their life\'s purpose.And once becoming a mama - one child with special needs and a twin brother - coupled with a busy professional life, I felt exhaustion like I never imagined.Through years of trial and error, I finally figured out that bone-crushing fatigue isn’t something I “just had to live with.”If this is you, it doesn’t have to be this way either.Re-learning how to rest *deeply* was transformative. In addition to my years of academic schooling and social justice community building, I was moved to teach Daring to Rest™ so I could share the gift of this powerful experiential method. I\'m also a certified breathwork coach, complementing my post-doctoral research studies at Harvard Medical School on psychosocial determinants of lung health.For decades, I’ve coached professional women to step into their life purpose as world changers - by stepping out of overwhelm.
