ABOUT BENIAMINO SQUITIERI

I am a Research Fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genova, where I continue to pursue my passion for robotics and technological innovation. Fascinated by the potential of robotic systems to solve complex problems and improve lives, I have built my career at the intersection of computer science, electronics, and mechanics, aiming to create intelligent machines with meaningful impacts.At IIT, my mission is to contribute to the development of advanced robotic solutions that revolutionize modern society. I firmly believe that robotics holds the key to addressing global challenges, enhancing quality of life, and promoting a sustainable future.I bring strong competencies in advanced programming with hands-on experience in Python, C++, and Java, along with proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System). My expertise also extends to artificial vision and machine learning, including the development and implementation of algorithms and deep neural networks. In addition, I have a robust background in robotic systems design and control, having worked on the modeling, simulation, and control of both manipulator and mobile robots, as well as embedded systems involving microcontrollers, sensors, and electronic circuit design.With a proven track record in teamwork, leadership, and effective communication, I am dedicated to continuous learning and the pursuit of innovative solutions. I am excited to contribute to pioneering projects that push the boundaries of the robotics field and drive technological progress.
