SKILLS
ABOUT BEN HOWARD
I’m a Wild Guide and qualified outdoor leader based in the Scottish Highlands, working with people to build meaningful connections with landscape, nature and place. Through my work with Rustle & Wild, I design and deliver conservation-focused outdoor experiences including guided walks, bushcraft, foraging, wild food and adventure activities. My approach combines practical skills, storytelling and time outdoors to help people better understand ecology, rewilding and responsible access, while building confidence and wellbeing in natural environments.Alongside my outdoor work, I bring over a decade of leadership, operations and partnership experience from earlier professional roles. These skills now support my work in guiding, community engagement and conservation-aligned projects, particularly where high-quality visitor experience and good land stewardship meet.I’m motivated by thoughtful land management, nature recovery and helping others experience wild places with care, curiosity and respect.
