ABOUT BEN HOOPER
I am a passionate educator, with a real drive to improve the opportunities for children and young adults with special educational needs. I strongly believe in fighting for the rights of our most vulnerable and often forgotten young people, giving them a voice and ensuring they are given every opportunity they are entitled to. My goal is to help transform the education system and how it approaches young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND). I believe in creating holistic approaches and helping to unify the different elements of the educational system to help give our most disadvantaged young people the best possible chances in life. I firmly believe in a system-wide approach to tackling educational disadvantage, and am proud within my role to be given a platform to bring in fresh ideas and lead the way for schools and other such educational partners to really make a lifelong difference to the young people who need it most.
