Provide strategic governance and oversight for the National Governing Body of schools’ and colleges’ football in England, steering business, operational, risk, finance, and legal frameworks to safeguard and grow the game. As part of the ESFA Board, work alongside the 23-member National Council (Football Governance Board) and the Senior Leadership Team to shape national policy, partnerships, and pathways for:• Players• Schools & Colleges• 44 County Schools’ FAs • 250 District Associations• 60+ National Cup competitions• 2 England international squadsInfluence executive decision-making to deliver 1.1M football pathways annually, supported by strategic partnerships with major stakeholders including the Premier League, Pokémon UK, and others. This work contributes to Sport England’s estimate of 2M+ schoolchildren playing football. Driving the NGB’s 3-year brand, marketing, and modernisation strategy, collaborating closely with English Football’s Three Lions ecosystem to unlock innovation, enhance visibility, and future-proof schools’ football.
