AVAYL is an AI-native SaaS startup transforming how Medical Affairs teams manage Medical Information. I hold end-to-end ownership for leading client adoption of our SaaS platform in Medical Affairs. In this role, I act as the primary link between pharma clients and our product team—ensuring the platform is deployed effectively, embraced by expert users, and continuously refined based on real-world user insights. Platform deployment: Lead the rollout of MedPro to pharma clients; gather requirements, coordinate with client IT on system integrations, and configure the platform to align with specific client workflows. Onboarding & user success: Lead the adoption journey for our clients; deliver onboarding and training, provide ongoing support, advise on best practices in medical informations workflows, and ensure the platform embeds effectively into daily operations. User insight & product evolution: Own the process of turning user insights—drawn from usage data, interviews, and feedback—into actionable product requirements, and work with leadership and developers to shape roadmap priorities. Product quality & release readiness: Lead QA and release testing; ensure new features and refinements are stable, intuitive, and aligned with real user needs before launch.

I am a molecular biologist by training (PhD, MIT/Novartis) with a career that spans biomedical research, operational leadership, management consulting, and now SaaS for Medical Affairs. I have led research in molecular biology and drug discovery, guided a company through operational recovery as Interim CEO, advised biotech and telco infrastructure clients as a management consultant, and today lead the rollout and adoption of an AI-powered SaaS platform for Medical Affairs at a Berlin-based startup. Current role: Leading SaaS adoption in Medical Affairs As Client Solutions Lead at AVAYL, I own the end-to-end adoption of MedPro, our GenAI-powered workflow platform. I work directly with pharma clients to deploy our system, onboard and support expert users, and turn user insights into product improvements and roadmap priorities. I also lead QA, ensuring that new features are stable, intuitive, and effectively address the needs of Medical Affairs experts in daily workflows. Operational leadership, consulting, & life science strategy As Interim CEO, I led my family’s fitness company through post-pandemic recovery—restructuring operations, modernizing workflows, and reversing a multi-year membership decline without layoffs. I then moved into management consulting, advising biotech and telco infrastructure clients on growth strategies and conducting a commercial due diligence for a VC-backed drug discovery firm. To deepen my industry expertise, I completed postgraduate training in Life Science Management, focusing on the strategic and operational processes that bring pharmaceuticals, advanced therapies, and medical devices to market. Academic research | molecular biology & drug discovery I hold a PhD in Molecular Biology and spent over seven years in research roles at MIT and Novartis, specializing in protein biochemistry, genome engineering, transcriptional regulation, and antiparasitic drug discovery. I discovered a novel mechanism of protein kinase activation and inhibition, developed CRISPR-based tools for targeted transcriptional modulation, and mapped transcription initiation genome-wide in Toxoplasma gondii, which produced the reference transcriptomic dataset for this organism. I published multiple first-author papers, presented at international conferences, taught university courses, and mentored both graduate and undergraduate students.
