ABOUT BENEDIKT HOPPE
I have recently finished a Master of Science in Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg, where I focussed on the challenges and opportunities of global governance for climate change adaptation and cooperation for sustainable development. Climate Policy and Sustainable Urbanisation and mobility are my areas of expertise. Previously, I interned at Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office) Germany in strategy, communication and mainstreaming of climate diplomacy, biodiversity, and environment. Helping promote German and European climate positions and interests, my daily tasks included researching and analysing climate policy and country positions, writing discussion papers, fact sheets, and speaking points. I learn fast and thrive in multicultural environments.
