About Benedict Bono Olgado
Information specialist and human rights advocate with more than a decade worth of experience designing and managing projects at the intersections of information, documentation, and technology. Scholar studying the relationship between memory, databases, and transitional justice. Established audiovisual archivist who helped build a national cultural agency from scratch. I have served as consultant and project manager on matters regarding records management and information infrastructure for cultural institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations, personal estates, and corporations across Asia and the Pacific. I have handled projects ranging from the digitization of analog records to the design of knowledge management systems. Figuring out how to make information work across different changing contexts and involving various stakeholders excites me. My approach to project management is shaped by my community organizing background that upholds the core values of care and generosity, while implementing sound and flexible strategies.
