ABOUT BEN DICKSON

I am an experienced and passionate CTO/Chief Architect/Consultant with approx. 15 years’ experience working in the IT industry. Level 3 certified “Chief Architect”, BSc (Hons) educated and TOGAF 9 certified - I have worked across large and complex Transition and Transformation change programmes in the Public Sector, Local Government, and the Financial Services arenas. I take the lead on significant programmes of change, including the management of complex associated stakeholder, client, and supplier relationships. Comfortable operating at all levels. I am best placed in ensuring the delivery of complex solutions across large scale environments, working closely with clients, partners and the Architect communities to ensure the solution is delivered “right first time”, with the required business value being realized, in a timely manner…having said that, I can turn my hand to most roles.I am a University Qualified Facilitator, who delivers Architecture and Consulting training across the globe to the Architect Community. I have designed and developed a number of architect training courses and am global content owner for the Level 1 course.Prior to joining Capgemini, I spent 7 Years working as a designer/architect for M&S in their Infrastructure development department. Major designs include NT4 to AD forest upgrade users) and stores refresh design (450 stores being migrated from NT domains and O/S to AD domain and Vista O/S - users).Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levelsTeam player who is passionate about people.
