Current research focuses on improving MUSE (Multimodal Universal Signal Enhancement), a novel method of amplifying fluorescent signals within in-situ hybridization. I perform weekly experiments and utilize various wet lab techniques including the maintenance of cell lines in vitro and the use of biological assays to analyze experimental efficiency. In addition, I use confocal and “light sheet” microscope technologies while employing Leica imaging software and Imaris analysis software to assess experimental results.
