Building Science Project Manager, Consultant, and Certified Passive House Designer with over a decade of enclosure design and consulting experience, specialized in high-performance enclosure design, building science, construction documentation and field testing of enclosure systems.Experience in mid- to high-rise construction projects located in Ontario, New York, the UK and Shanghai, using North American, British and Chinese building practices.GRADUATE RESEARCH: Stack-induced interior airflow patterns of supertall Passive House residential towers. UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH: The design and application of double-skin facades in North America.I hold a Master of Building Science from Ryerson University (presently Toronto Metropolitan University) in Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the Cork Institute of Technology (presently Munster Technological University) in Ireland.Notable achievements include winning the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2022 Solar Decathlon design competion in the Attached Housing division, for novel application of a low-carbon and net-zero energy residential retrofit.
