Laka protects the things you love - without the fine print, without the tricks. At heart, we are building a tech company which protects the things you care about the most. Unlike traditional insurers, we are no longer incentivised to refrain from paying out claims to customers. Instead, we align our interests by taking a fee on settled claims and as such are encouraged to act in our customers’ best interest. The actual coverage is provided by a community of like minded people who are collectively rewarded for playing fair. Laka offers a cheaper, fairer and more transparent service, starting with cover for high value bicycles.
