Design & development of Centrifugal air compressors, EV Cooling system components and turbocharger using ONSHAPE. Creating 3D models, assembling & preparing drawing for manufacturing. Knowledge on design of casting & machining, material properties, BoM, Stack up analysis, GD & T & Drawing reading. Material selection for compressor wheel & standardization of cast to reduce tooling cost. Optimization of the components to increase the efficiency and strength. Hand calculations to evaluate pressfit, bolt pretension, shaft stretch, thermal expansion, stress etc. FEA stress analysis of full assembly & components of Centrifugal air compressors, EV Cooling system and turbochargers subjected to preload, temperature, angular velocity and pressure. FEA non-linear thermo-structural analysis of (i) Housing – Stator and (ii) Magnet -Sleeve heat shrink–fit/interference fit analysis. Modal & Harmonic response analysis of PCBs and electronic components, housings and full system to identify the Natural Frequency, Equivalent Radiated Power of the system & components. PSD (random vibration) analysis of PCBs and electronic components, housings and full system to identify the stresses on the components providing external loads as the input. Shaft stretch analysis to determine the strength of the rotor and shaft at operating conditions for various loads. Extending support in preparation of detailed technical report & design change suggestions.
