About Ben Whelden
I am a founder, inventor, entrepreneur, hiker, trail runner, lobsterman, charter boat captain, tanker truck driver, recovery advocate, suicide advocate, father of 4 (with 1 in heaven) and hobby farmer.I started FlipSockz as a way to support my advocacy, supplement my income and better support my family. Our mission is to help support veterans and first responders (and everyone really) who struggle with addiction, suicide and mental health challenges.In this journey I have also gained an interest in supporting Alzheimer’s and cancer initiatives. To support our mission we sponsor and promote events such as hikes, 5k’s, mountain runs and hopefully a future marathon all while raising awareness and donations to support a healthier lifestyle and combat addiction and suicide.@Flipsockz
