ABOUT BEN WALLIS
From a Runner to a Series Producer with twenty five years of production and development experience in between. I have worked on numerous natural history series and feature films for both the US and UK markets as well environmental, science, history, adventure and anthropology series. I have directed talent, worked with hundreds of contributors all over the world and am extremely experienced in casting and access. I have worked almost exclusively in remote locations from China to Papua New Guinea and Zimbabwe to Arctic Canada. I have a great deal of experience in the edit, strong writing skills and a love of post production work. I have been fortunate enough to be part of - and led - amazingly talented teams, allowing me to develop my leadership and management skills.I have also worked across Development throughout my career in both scripted and unscripted, using my skills to gain experience in other genres such as travelogues and true crime. Throughout my career, I have hugely enjoyed mentoring up and coming talent and am trained as a mental health first aider.
