ABOUT BEN TYMCHYSHYN
I am a registered Landscape Architect within the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Atlantic Canada. I have worked in the landscape architectural consulting industry for over 18 years, providing design and project management for large-scale projects. Over my career, I\'ve been involved in a variety of projects from conceptual design to completion, including trails, parks, sports facilities, and schools. As someone who values the outdoors, designing recreation facilities is a rewarding experience. Once they\'re built they have an immediate and direct results: more people spend time outside.My most rewarding project was designing a segment of the Etobicoke Creek Trail extension in Toronto. The off-road, multi-use trail runs along the border between Mississauga and Toronto, crossing through valley lands and then out to the Greater Toronto Airport. It was one of the first trails built within airport lands in Canada.
