This includes managing and mitigating risk related to services including company car and salary sacrifice schemes, HGV and trailer leasing, maintenance and management, regulated vehicle services and in the back-office systems and services that underpin them.• Legal lead on the successful completion of complex multi-million value fleet maintenance contracts with organisations across the supermarket, utilities and transport sectors.• Introduced and formalised compliance and contract review processes within the group, including when instructing the team on new matters and an approval process for relevant business stakeholders to sign-off risks prior to contract signature.• Achieved 3 Star accreditation for the Legal team from the Best Companies organisation. Also shortlisted for “Legal Team of the Year” at the Yorkshire Legal Awards and Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards.• Lead or supported due diligence processes for several corporate acquisitions and disposals.• Launched a formal work experience programme for law students at the University of Leeds (particularly promoting students from underrepresented backgrounds).
