Based in 6500sq ft premises in Shropshire, MyWorkwears expert and skilled machinists print and embroider up to garments per week for companies large and small across the UK. Responsible for the operational running of the business, I make key strategic and operational decisions and utilise the knowledge I have gained from my MBA to modernise and grow the business. My key focus is on leveraging technology to create a competitive advantage and improve operational efficiencies. Digitising an analogue business is challenging but rewarding, leading to significant improvements in performance and efficiency throughout the business. Implementing large-scale modernisation of the company’s dated systems and processes has produced a 25% saving in administration costs and has supported significant growth in sales and operational performance. I am now concentrating on implementing our digital strategy and continuing to develop our ongoing growth.
