Duties and Responsibilities:· Oversee the pricing department to ensure efficient operations. This includes being an individual contributor, managing & delegating the workflow of the team, and ensuring all deadlines are met.· Coordinate all required information for the preparation of final quotes, including customer required documentation and vendor quotes to Optivor Technologies.· Review customer requirements, match vendor quotes to customer specifications. Ensure quote is compatible by communicating with other departments and staff to determine and clarify customer requirements. Use advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to prepare needed spreadsheets, work with other Sales team members to prepare package to customer.· Field customer inquiries. Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure timely response. Maintain customer maintenance renewal pricing and work with Sales to communicate renewal information to the customer. Work with Optivor Accounting and Purchasing departments on status of renewals. Advise vendor if customer maintenance contract is not renewing.· Gather required data for quote preparation. Build and maintain pricing measurements for decision making processes. Maintain various data bases, customer quotation data and vendor data.
